Abstract:
Artificial intelligence (AI) is developing rapidly and is increasingly being applied across various domains of economic, social, and public governance, including law-making activities. The European Union is regarded as a global pioneer in establishing a legal framework for the regulation of AI while also actively deploying AI in legislative processes at different levels. This article examines the EU’s legal framework and practical application of AI in law-making activities in selected Member States. Based on this analysis, the article draws several lessons that may serve as useful references for Vietnam, as the country is gradually exploring and piloting the use of AI in legislative activities.
