Improving the Legal Framework on Credit to Meet the Requirements of Sustainable Development in Vietnam

Abstract: 

Sustainable development has become a strategic orientation for many countries and international organisations, with the financial and banking system playing a pivotal role in allocating resources to environmentally and socially responsible activities. In Vietnam, the development and improvement of the legal framework for credit to meet the requirements of sustainable development is considered a critical task, aiming at ensuring the safety of the banking system while promoting financial inclusion and green growth. This article analyses the current state of the legal framework on credit in light of sustainable development requirements in Vietnam, thereby identifying existing limitations and legal gaps that warrant further improvement.
